Portraits

Children make beautiful subjects for portrait photography.

Portraits taken of a subject on a regular basis reveal inner changes in the psyche, as well as in a face and expression over the years. This is especially true of babies and children as they change in appearance and often in personality.

In recent years, portraiture has changed to include more casual settings, digital treatments, and/or a Painterly effect. You can see examples of these creative treatments on my site.

Timely family portraits tell much about the family’s dynamics and the development and growth of this traditional unit.
